INDIANA SPANISH AMERICAN WAR RECORDS After Congress passed resolutions of intervention in April of 1898, the President issued a proclamation calling for 125,000 volunteers to serve in the army for two years in what came to be known as the Spanish-American War. This database is a list of Indiana residents who answered the call. It provides the volunteer's name and rank, as well as location of enlistment.
