A brother of I.C.Parker, Joseph, was my maternal grandfather. Joseph Parker married Amanda Hunt(?). They had 8 children, 3 girls-5 boys. Elizabeth Parker was my mother, she married James Millot and they had 2 sons and 1 daughter. I am the oldest, Juanita Haub, James Parker and Shannon Alton. I married Dr. James Haub who taught in the science department at Ohio State for 41 years. Died last November. We had one son James Parker Haub who is 27, is a senior at Ohio State majoring in zoology and natural resources. My brother said the Oklahoma Press at the university of Oklahoma (at Norman) has published some chronicles of Oklahoma about Uncle Ike. Then there are several books; "The Law West of Ft. Smith", "The Hanging Judge", "He Hanged Them High", and "Iron Men". I hope this is helpful, there was so much we did not keep, or remember. I am 68 yrs., so I knew people who remembered interesting stories about family. I only became interested when I had a son, and by that time, most of the old people were gone. We, as kids, always spent our summers on a farm near Barnesville, Ohio. Please pardon the writing, I have men painting the house, the weather is very hot and humid. Thursday my son and a friend left for Ft. Bridger where there is an old fashioned rendezvous and primitive shooting. He took two of his flintlocks along. Then they plan to go north to Yellowstone and Glacier. They have 3 weeks until fall quarter, two more and he will graduate, but plans to get his masters right away. I am assuming Corona del Mar is in California, there was no indiction on the envelope where it is. Hope I guessed right. Sincerely, Mrs. James Haub Juanita
