Henry Clifford 'Cliff' Shannon ODESSA - Henry Clifford "Cliff" Shannon, 92, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at his residence. He was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Stephenville. He married Gwendola Ground on Jan. 9, 1939, in Anson. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and had held every office at the church and was a longtime trustee until the time of his death. He was owner of G&S Oil Co. He was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Earl Shannon. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gwen Shannon of Odessa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at Belmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Rotramell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
