Looking for any Shannon's born or living in Zanesville, Ohio in the 1880's. My grandmother, Mabel Shannon, was born in 1889 in Zanesville. Her mother supported her by giving piano lessons and running a boarding house. The father was missing, apparently a drunk and womanizer. Only name I have for him is H.E. Shannon? not sure if this H.
