Hi Beverly, I am gonna hold my breath while I answer this......I have a James L. SHANNON, youngest son of James & Margaret GRIMLIER SHANNON. I show this son born in 1832, but in Copiah County MS. I also show 2 possible (but not proven) marriages for this James: to a Flementine (unknown maiden name) somewhere in KY, and also marr a Martha Jane HARRIS 7 Apr 1853. I know that James & Margaret's youngest son was James L. because of her bounty land application naming all their children, plus other court records. What you think? I only know of 1 other person researching this family of James & Margaret. I descend from the 4th child of James & Margaret, Benjamin Franklin. Joyce
