Carolyn, If the list is starting a Roll Call, I would like to submit the elusive ancestors of mine. For nearly 30 years I have known where they came from and went, but not how they arrived where they were! Alexander Shannon born in Kentucky about 1797 to 1799 married Clarissa Curtner (Keutner) in Kentucky (near Danville in 1827). By 1832 they were in Indiana, possibly Rush County, by 1836 in Knox County, Indiana, and by 1847 in what became Richland County, Wisconsin. They died in Richland County, Clarissa in 1882 and Alex in 1886. They had 10 children, 6 of whom left descendants. I have much on the descendants, but nothing on the ancestors of either. Any clues?
