Hello List, I feel sure that my Shannon line used alcohol, and I know the Staten line that married into the Shannons abused it. My daddy was a chronic alcoholic, his dad made the stuff and bootlegged it. Of course back in those days one was not called an alcoholic, they were called "Ole Drunks" Just my 2 cents worth--Helen -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, December 02, 1999 7:56 AM Subject: [SHANNON-L] Re: SHANNONs & alcohol >Hi Leslie, >Were you on this list a year.....maybe 2 years ago when we discussed the >tendancy of many of the SHANNON line towards alcoholism?
