Hello, I am seeking any information anyone can help me with, regarding a GEORGE A. SHANNON, born 1917-18 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He was last known to be living in Detroit, Michigan in 1961 at 8468 Vaughn Street,(Detroit 28). This George was the son of Robert Shannon (I believe) and the Grandson of George A. Shannon and Isabella McDonald of Chippewa Falls, WI. Young George had a sister named ANNABELLE SHANNON born 1915, and his mother was named JESSE SHANNON, born about 1895 in Minnesota. George and all of his family were devout Catholic so they may have attended a church in that area. I have inluded his cousin's names of Fabiola and Cecile TARRANT and and uncle named Philip Federen, possibly of Minnesota. In the obituary of George's grandfather who passed away in 1944, there ws a mention of three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. I'm hoping the great-grandchildren who might be in their 50s-60s, are still in the area. ANY information will be 100% more than I have right now. My grandfather Wilfred G. Shannon was an uncle to this George Shannon. Please send any information you have no matter how small!
