I just recieved this an e-mail titled "All is Costco.com! All is Bright!" with a web address link and a cupid2.exe file attached from someone unknown. My reaction was to reply to his address "DO I KNOW YOU?". He hadn't sent it. I recieved this virus warning around the same time. Feel free to spread the warning: >Subject: Re: system crash/Don't open this!! > >A warning was just sent out by rootsweb about a virus that sends itself out >from infected machines by choosing a name at random from the address book >and a message title from the inbox so that it looks like it came from >another machine that is not infected. Rootsweb will not allow attachments >to individual messages so if you get a message that appears to be from >rootsweb with an attachment, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. > >The email will have some or all of these words in it: ><<Hypercool Happy New Year 2000 funny programs and animations>> > >Any email offering free samples, and/or cool stuff etc. as attachments >should automatically be suspect and be deleted.
