Hello all, Is anyone researching the Shannon family (from County Cork) who arrived on the ship COLUMBUS which arrived at N.Y. on 21 Nov 1849 from Liverpool? John, 36, Peggy, 34, Patrick-12, Peter-8- Bridget, -11, Mary, age 9, John age 4 and Julie age 12? I am descended from Peter Shannon who by 1861 was in Ohio and was married to Mary last name unknown.
