The William Shannon, buried in Erie was married to Leila McCall Shannon. He was born April 7, 1875 in Sharon Springs, NY and died in Erie, PA, June 26, 1943. They had five children: Lavinia Gertrude B. Feb. 16, 1898, Melville J. B. Oct 16, 1901, William Arthur b. Sept 23, 1906, Florence b. Jan. 12, 1908 and Robert E. b. April 22, 1909. I have been thinking of sending a letter to all Shannon's in Erie to see if any are related but haven't done it so far. If you have any clues, I would be grateful for any information.
