    1. Re: [SHANNON-L] Rebecca Ann Shannon
    2. Ginger, Will get you the Yates sheets as soon as I can. My line is Thomas Shannon of Sadesbury Twnshp, Lancaster Co., Pa. He was one of four sons of Robt Shannon b. in N. Ireland, son of John Jr, b. in Scotland, and grandson of John b. in Scotland. a son of Thomas was Samuel, my ancestor. He left and migrated down into Va., where he settled in Poplar Hill. After the Rev. War, he and his family(except for eldest son Thomas) went through the Cumberland Gap into the area along the Ky-Tnn border. Samuel's children settled in Tnn,Miss,Ark and Mo. My line is like this; John>John Jr>Thomas m. Eigness>Samuel m. Jean Reid> Joseph m. Mary Billingsley>Granville m. Unity Williams>Col. Alexander May Shannon m. Clara Viola Scott>James Alfre m. Dana Sproule>James Jr m. Gloria Gusman>Michael. Mike Shannon ps With yours being from Va., and born in that time frame, I would say the chances are very good we're in the same family somehow.
