My Shannon's may have come from Ireland and immigrated to Va then to Ky on to Illinois...but there was a brother in the mid 1800's who then moved to Ohio. I'm not really sure which brother that was. Samuel may have been born in Ross Co., although another source gives his birthplace as Co. Clare Ireland. Samuel and Sarah were married in Brown Co and when my Ggrandfather was born, they were living at Five Mile, OH in 1866. Samuel was a Circuit Rider. I don't have any information on his parents or siblings.
