Hi all, I am looking for information on my paternal grandmother's side. Her father was John CAMPBELL from Antrim, and her mother was Catherine McATEER, also from Antrim...or as her Death Notice said, from County Derry. Catherine was born on the 17 May 1857 whilst I estimate John to have been born in 1854. They both, along with Catherine's brother James, came to New Zealand on the ship RAKAIA in 1878...leaving London on the 16 July and arriving in Wellington on 8 September. John later went into the Cartage business. Catherine died on 19 July 1916 and John on the 13 February 1929. If there is anyone in Ireland who relates to this family I would love to hear from you.
