Hi All, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who may have a connection to my ancestor, Mathew POWER. He was born in Waterford,Ireland about 1787. I do not knwo who his parents were as I first found him in 1807 when he got married; then in 1808-10 as the Mate aboard the ship HIRAM. After that he became a Master Mariner on numerous ships. His first ship was a schooner MARY of Plymouth. It appears he worked out of Plymouth most of his life. I have him there up until 1831 to date. Still looking at that end.....and now in Waterford for his birth/baptism. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Hooray, Warren in Ballarat, Australia (ex Kiwi).
