hi:) Im researching my Direct line of D'ACRE, that went to Ireland in 1700s from France..Some changed the Name to DEAKER. My gggrandfather William Clendinnen married Lydia Deaker(D'Acre) in Co wexford ireland in 1826. Her Parents were John D'Acre and Margaret Steele from Co wexfird..they had 6 children. Johns FAther was William D'acre was said to be a French refugee who introduced the Silk Sprinning Industry to Mountrath, Queens County Ireland.
