I have a Christopher Purcell, born around 1796.( according to his age at death.) My 1st record of him is, Nov. 27th 1832, in Ottawa, Canada, where he marries a Roseanne Fleming at Notre-Dame Church. Later they move to St. Alphonse-Rodriquez, Quebec, Canada. Christopher and Roseanne had 11 children. Christopher died there, Dec. 13th, 1878. I "believe" this Purcell family was originally from County Cork, but I have been unable to trace it back. Any one searching this name? Mary Greene@LL.net
