My great grandfather served with the Royal Irish Constabulary. I have the basic information from the RIC, but notice that they have an Advanced Search which can be requested. It states "In the case of the ranks of Sergeant and above more information may be available from the printed RIC lists held at the museum. For this Seach a fee of 25 pounds is required as this is very time consuming." Has anyone requested this advanced search and, if so, do you feel it was worth it? What does 25 pounds equate to in US dollars? Thanks in advance. Colleen
