Am searching for information about Jeremiah MCCARTHY and Catherine Hayes, their ancestors, and their decendents. They left County Cork about 1850 for South Boston MA. According to the 1880 Census they lived at what appears to be 17C Street and had the following children: Patrick, Cornelius, Donald, William, Mary, Johanna or Josephine, and Kate.
