Michael, Sylvester, Charles, Hudy and Denis, Catherine Dolan, Molly McHugh and Susan Dolan I descend from Michael through his son Sylvester as follows: SECOND GENERATION: Family of Michael: Sons were Brian, Sylvester and Charles Family of Sylvester: Sons were Sylvester and Michael THIRD GENERATION: Children of Sylvester: Pat, John, Hugh, Michael, Bridget Rourke, Mary Hoyte and Alice Gallagher. FOURTH GENERATION: Children of Michael Michael married Mary Devany. Known children are Sylvester, Elizabeth, (known as Bessie) Patrick, Molly, Margaret and Anne. There may have been others. Michael and Mary married in Dowra, Co. Cavan in 1875... FIFTH GENERATION: Sylvester of Corry, Co.Leitrim married Bessie Forde. Their children are Michael, Anne McGowan, Patrick and Rita Downes. Bessie Maguire married Albert Blake. SIXTH GENERATION: Children of Michael and Margaret Maguire of Corry, Co. Leitrim Thomas, Mary Nolan, Kitty McMama, Michail, Pauline, Martina and Noel Bessie Maguire married Albert Blake in NYC in 1908....moved to New Haven, Ct and had three children...Margaret (Peggy) Kelly, Joseph A. Blake married to Alice Murphy of New Haven, Ct. and Betty Fiorentino of New Haven, Ct. Bessie is my grandmother. Margaret Maguire married Frank Gilhooly about 1911 in Chicago and had eight children Mary (Molly) married Harry Miller and they lived in the military for many years..both are buried in Washington National Cemetery Patrick is believed to have gone to Chicago and we think he was a Fireman in the City of Chicago _______________________________________________________________________________________ KELLY, Owen, b. 1842, Co. Monaghan to Owen (John) and Mary, arrived in Boston 1852 Don't know if he arrived alone or with his family....famine survivors?
