    2. All dates are Ballyloughan, RC Parish of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, unless otherwise noted. Terrence BYRNE 1729-1807. Terrence had at least 2 sons, Charles and Walter. Terrence's daughter Margaret born abt 1773 and died 1794. Charles BYRNE 1760-1862 married Johanna NOLAN RC Parish of Myshall, Co. Carlow. Johanna born abt. 1800 probably and died before 1835. Charles married Nancy HEARY. Dau Margaret born 1835. Children of Charles BYRNE and Johanna NOLAN: 1. Honoria BYRNE b. bef. 1819 married Andrew/Andy LAWLER 1839. Dau Margaret b. 1840. Honoria's family emigrated. Date and country unknown. 2. Elizabeth BYRNE b. bef 1820, married Edward MAHER. Edward b. abt. 1812 Ballytarana, Parish of Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny. Died 1896. Elizabeth died 1899. Children of Elizabeth and Edward: Charles b. 1842. Moved to Co Kildare. Married with children. Daniel b. 1844. died after 1915. Lived in Co Carlow or Laois. William b 1845 d 1926 Became a priest. Thomas b 1847 died aft 1915. Moved to Co Laois, has descendents in Ireland. Jeremiah b 1848, emigrated to US. Became a doctor. Moved to California. Married with children. Edward b 1850 died aft. 1915. Lived in Co Carlow or Laois. Johanna b 1851, died young . John b 1853 d 1916 Dublin, became a priest . Mary A. b 1855 d. after 1918. Lived in Ballyloughan. James b. 1857 d. 1941 Lived in Ballyloughan at ancestral home. House/farm is still there. Terrence b. 1859. Emigrated to Australia, became Civil Engineer in Sydney. (Not proven yet.) Patrick b 1861 d aft 1915. Was in local government. Probably died in Co Carlow. Honoria b 1863, died young . 3. Mary/Mary Ann BYRNE b 1820 married John NOLAN of Co. Kildare. Their dau Matilda married Bernard NOLAN, Rosslee, Myshall. She married a second time, his name was Hugh NOLAN. I have other information on this family. Mary is buried in Co Kildare. 4. Thomas BYRNE b 1822. Emigrated to US in 1848 and moved to Illinois. He was my gg grandfather. Surname changed to BURNS in the US. I have lots of info on this family. Charles’ BYRNE's brother, and son of Terrence--- Walter BYRNE 1759- 1854, married Mary (maiden name unknown) 1777-1834? Sons Frank, Walter and Terrence. Could be other children. Frank BYRNE b about 1800 died 1874 . The younger Walter BYRNE died aged 25 in 1838? The younger Terrence BYRNE abt 1804-1874 married Ann CARPENTER b abt. 1819 d 1913 Bagenalstown. Their children born in Carrigmore : Annie, married William LAWLER d. 1918 Bagenalstown area. No children. 2 unknown girls, but they married and had children . Bridget BYRNE b. 1852. She married and had children. Walter BYRNE b. 1855, married Ann MAHER 1914, no children. Thomas BYRNE b 1856 died 1870 . Margaret BYRNE b 1858. She married and had children. One of Terrence and Ann's daughters married a FENELON, one a SHAUGHNESSY, one a MURPHY, one a DOYLE. There are many descendents of Terrence and Ann living in Ireland. Many family members are buried in cemetery in Ballinkillen, RC Parish of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. The oldest Terrance BYRNE and the oldest Margaret are buried in Dunleckney cemetery. Some of the BYRNEs and MAHERs are buried in Ballinkillen as we have found stones. The 2 MAHER priests are there, along with Walter and Mary and some of their family. There are some BYRNEs who I have not made a connection to. There are also some BYRNEs buried with Walter and Mary whom I have not found records for.
