    3. hi all I have sent this to several list so Sorry to everyone that has had heard my sorry before but I have a new lead and to those that haven't HALO nice to meet you all and I hope one of you can help! I am having great trouble in find in the parents of my great grandmother Ellen Bryan or Bryant I have the following certificates for her: Marriage 18th July 1891 name age con rank residence father rank Walter Harry Bartlett /22 / Bachelor/Masons Labourer/15 Philip st Maindee,Newport/Walter Bartlett/Marker garden Ellen Bryan/21/spinster/-/15 Philip st Maindee,Newport/Edward Thomas Bryan(dead)/Hauler Birth 8th August 1869 Widemarsh,Holmer,Hereford,Birth sub-District of Burghill Helen Bryant father Thomas Bryant (farm labourer) Mother( the mark of)Elizabeth Tiler or could be Tyler a Ellen Bryan has been found on the 1881 census as a Visitor of the Holder family of Tewkesbury,Gloucester no sine of her parent I am having a problem in deciding which is the proper name for my great grandmother and her father I have consulted the oldies left in the family and there pretty confident that it was Bryant BUT I have a photo of a grave that has the name Bryan on it with for Edie on the written on the back who was a daughter of Ellen and Walter Harry Bartlett????????????HELP one oldie has said that he "understood that the family had IRISH origin"(so it could mean that the name is O'Bryan or O'Bryant) but how for back that's the Question?? IRELAND has such a fascinating history and the idea that my family has roots there fascinates me on what part they played how do I find this out?is there a mailing list that could help? do any of you Bartlett's,Bryant,Bryan or Tyler's have any Irish roots ? what and where am I to look? any help would be most appreciated this side of my family is a problem and I am determined to branch it out your Hopefully Karen
