Hello JoAnn! Found the following information on the Shamrock List and just wanted you to know that my ggrandfather, John DANAHY came from Ireland (not sure where) around 1840 to Waterford, Kings Co., NB. I am searching where he might have come from but since I am in Nova Scotia most of the records are in NB. I never considered that he might be from Limerick Count but rather suspect Cork or Kerry.
