CANAVAN- Mary Canavan married my Grandfather Michael Martin Smith's first cousin, another Michael Smith in Brackloon. She died young and the children were raised by her parents, but not sure which townland in Kilconduff Parish, County Mayo PADDEN- The above Michael Smith's second wife was Mary Padden from the Foxford area. Michael Davitt's older sister Mary married a Padden and I don't know if there is any connection to Mary Padden Smith. LAVELLE - cousin of the the above Smith/Padden family.
