I am just starting to search for another line on my tree. I have Elizabeth (or Eliza) Ann SCOTT born Dublin 24 September 1860. That's it, no parents names, nothing. The story goes that her and her mother came to New Zealand, and her father went to Canada. From old family stories, the sad part was that they were all supposed to be together in Canada, but were travelling at seperate times, and when her mother was found to be a mid-wife, there was a shortage of mid-wives in New Zealand, so she was sent there. They never found husband/father again. Elizabeth married into my SHIRLEY family tree, and she died in NZ in April 1940. Does anyone have a connection with her? Dawn, Christchurch, New Zealand.
