My research interests centre around my Daly ancestors (who were renamed O'Daly pre-1918). Originally the family were from near Oldcastle Co. Meath, Ireland, but I believe that they lost their land around 1650 following the Cromwellian transplantations. They moved to the townlands of Bocks Upper and Dunaree, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. Some emigrated to work in Leadville, Colorado and Anaconda, Montana, USA. I would be interested in hearing from anyone with (or without!) a connection. Let's find those rellies!
