Sue There is still another way of spelling Ratigan, Rattigan. I have never seen it spelled Radaca. Thank you. Now I can start looking for that spelling also. Marcena Surnames: RATIGAN, DRURY, GARRIGHAN, CODY, MURRAY.
Hi Marcena Have only found spelling of Radaca once & it was on the 1850 Census for St. Clair Co. Michigan. Have you tried this site? http://www.omen.com.au/~lumac/namerad.html it has lots of different spellings. My Rattigans (Rhadigan) came to Michigan St. Clair Co. area about 1850. I believe they left Liverpoole 1839 to New York then Canada before coming to the Michigan. James & Mary Rattigan had several sons & a daughter born in Canada with last 2 daughter being born in Michigan ,1st one in 1852.Are any of your Rattigans in Michigan? have not looked for all the brother & sisters of my grandfather Charles Rhadigan, his father was Thomas with James & Mary as Thomas' parents Maybe we can connect??
