Tony, While I applaud your efforts to get these church records online... I feel I must clarify one point you made in your post, a point which in the past has been deliberatly confusing to people. Rootsweb was -never- and -is not- a "non profit corporation". Never. They never claimed to be technically, tho they did solicit "contributions". The "company" was in fact owned by Brian Leverich and Karen Isaacson, and was sold to MyFamily.com Inc for several million dollars in stocks and monies. Rootsweb.com Inc is now owned by MyFamily.com Inc. While they have made pledges to keep your data from being sold etc, please do not think that Rootsweb, MyFamily, Ancestry or really any other online genealogy source is not out to make money from our use, by selling ads on sites etc. Virtually all the online sites are sponsored by someone now, it's just too expensive to run and too profitable to pass by. Please let's not start a debate on the lists about this folks, but please realize that Rootsweb never was a non-profit anything. This was a source of great consternation for many of us all along.
