I am researching the following surnames in Ireland in the time span of 1795-1850s. Henry PEEL/PEAL b. abt. 1797 married to: Margaret BOWES b. abt. 1795 They had the following children: Henry Richard b. abt. 1828 William b. abt. 1831 William married Susan PARR. They were married before 1859 in Newburgh NY. Susan's parents were William PARR and Mary Ann PRATT. William emigrated to Newburgh NY around 1854. Don't know when his brothers and parents came over but they are there by 1860. Henry and William were iron moulders and Richard was a blacksmith. Somewhere in the middle of this was my gggrandmother, Margaret J. PEEL. She was born abt. 1840-42 in Ireland. Don't really know who here parents were. Definitely not William or Richard. Possible Henry Jr. She could also be a late in life child of Henry Sr. and Margaret PEEL. She is in Newburgh by Dec. 1857 which is when she married a James BROWN, also an Irish native. I don't know where in Ireland these surnames would come from. All where Church of Ireland or in US Episcopalian. Anyone that has any information, please email. Thanks. Robin Co. Tipperary: KERWIN, SHERRY Co. Cavan: FARLEY Co. Tyrone: COOPER And all the rest of my Irish: BOWES, BURKE, BROPHY, BROWN, DENNEGAN, MOORE, PEEL, PARR, PRATT, SCOTT, WOODS
