I am new to this list and am looking for any more concrete information on the following Clarke family. Cornelius Clarke, b. probably late 1870s early 1880s in Ireland? Married Catherine Quartermas, b.? d.? She was apparently the daughter of an English Quaker. They had four Children: Mary F. Clarke, b. March 2, 1803; Catherine, b. best guess 1805; Martha, b. best guess 1806; Edward, b. best guess 1807 or 8. Edward m. ? and they had two children, Mary Jane, b. 1846, and a son, b. best guess 1848. Cornelius Clarke apparently had a leather business in Dublin on Dominick Street, which is apparently where the family lived. Mary F. Clarke started a school in Dublin in 1832 on North Ann Street. It was called Miss Clarkes Seminary. She then left Dublin the summer of 1833 with three companions to go to Philadelphia where they taught.
