    3. Looking for more information/descendants for author Eamon de Siunta (Ernest Edwin Joynt) who was born 1874 in Ballina, Mayo and d. 1955 in Dublin, Ireland. He supposedly translated Pilgrim's Progress into Irish and wrote short stories in Irish and French. He was the son of Richard Watson Joynt (youngest of 17 children of Henry Joynt and Eleanor Johnston/Johnson), at one time editor of Ballina newspaper ( I think the Ballina Herald). Eamon/Ernest married 1) Ethel Bray and then 2) Frances Young. Ernest went to Methodist College, Belfast (1888-1892), became chief draughtsman at the Inchicore railway works in Dublin and Principal of Bolton St. Technical schools, Dublin. Cathy Joynt Labath Joynt/Joint Family Chronicles (One name study-in hopes of finding one darn relation for my gg grandfather, David Joynt, RC, who emigrated from Beagh Parish, Galway c. 1867.
