    1. [SH] Any BREEN, CONNOR, LOGAN, CAIN in Co. Cork, Ireland?
    2. John T. Lannom
    3. For the past 10 years - without any success, I have been searching for any information on my above-mentioned ancestors. My gg-grandparents were, John BREEN (b. 8/16/1828 in Co. Cork) and Ellen M. LOGAN (b. 2/5/1838). John Breen's parents were: David BREEN/Margaret CONNOR. Ellen Breen's parenrs were: Bernard LOGAN/Mary CAIN. I have written to many Breens in Co Cork, with no success; written to the Heritage Center, with no success; hired a professional genealogist in Co. Cork, with no success; written to several Catholic Priests, with no success. What I do have is the names of John and David BREEN listed in two locations in Co. Cork in Griffiths Valuation -- (1) Parish - Drishane; Location - Ballydaly and (2) Parish - Kilmeen; Location Doonasleen, North. I am seeking information on the marriage date/place of John and Ellen Breen in Ireland and any information on their siblings, parents, etc. I am certain no other Breen family immigrated with them and that they left family in Ireland. John and Ellen Breen immigrated BEFORE 1861 when their first child was born in Ohio in that year. I have all my Breen ancestor information after 1861 in the US, but nothing in Ireland. They were of the Catholic Faith. Any suggestions/direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Please e-mail me at: <jlannom@fuse.net> Carole Lannom
