    3. Thomas, Thanks for your response. It is interesting to know that there was a (at least one) Tim Callaghan in Cork back in the early 1800s. My Callaghans actually moved to England in the mid 1800s - during the famine (around 1850). They moved to St Helens which is in North West England, just north east of Liverpool. Let me know if you find out any more information.
