The spelling of the name in the Irish Constabulary records is no guarantee that the man in question spelt his name that way. I very much doubt that there is a list of Irish magistrates for any year on line. However, the (Thom's) Dublin Directory for 1853 has an alphabetical list of all JPs as well as a county by county list giving their addresses.
