In it you will learn how to research your Irish and Scots-Irish ancestors from a historical perspective. Find as much information in the U.S. as possible so research in Ireland will be more effective. Conduct quality research from a historical perspective, locate records effectively, record information correctly, and cite your sources as your family tree continues to grow! Whether you have many or a few Irish or Scots-Irish ancestors you will gain an understanding of what records are available for your ancestors in the U.S. and Ireland.
