One of the rootsweb sites (unfortunately I can't remember which one) lists Clogherhead as a R.C. parish associated with Parsonstown. It also says that the church records are not available on an LDS film. > So my questions - where do I find parents marriage and children's baptismal records? Are civil records the best option or do I write to the R.C. parish? If so, how do I find the parish address? In the states, I always send a donation for this type of request. How much of a donation is appropriate? Can I send US dollar check? If not, how do I convert the funds? > > Thanks in advance > Margaret Mullen > > researching in Ireland > MULLEN: Armagh, Ireland > NY, US abt 1886 > CORRIGAN: Parsonstown, Drogheda, Louth > NY, US 1908 > CARWAY / CARAWAY / CARROWAY: prob Sligo, Ireland > NY abt 1865 > > ==== SHAMROCK Mailing List ==== > ** To unsubscribe from this list send > unsubscribe to > SHAMROCK-L-request@rootsweb.com for > regular mode, or > SHAMROCK-D-request@rootsweb.com for > digest **
