Have just joined the list and already I've learned about Griffith's Valuation so thank you for that. I would love to know more about my Great grandparents from Co Mayo. John SULLIVAN b abt 1839 and wife Mary (nee CARTY or McCarty) b abt 1844 came to Liverpool about 1863 from somewhere in Co. Mayo. Daughter Margaret was born 1859 in Ireland (presumably Mayo) ...other children born from 1865 in Liverpool.
