Daniel Spillane (1821, Ire.-1886, Bangor, Maine) m. Margaret Buckley, probably in Ire before 1850 (Re: Maine Census 1850). We believe Daniel and brothers: Maurice, James, Neil immigrated through Newfoundland and to Bangor in 1847. Margaret died, probably in childbirth Circa 1860, Bangor. Maurice was married to Catherine Burke before leaving Ireland. Maurice worked for Michael Roberts of Kilmancy Abbey who furnished Maurice w/ letter of recommendation before emigration. Daniel & James stayed in Bangor; Maurice moved to Ohio and finally to Wisconsin. No "info" on Neil yet. Searching for parents of these men in County Cork.
