On a recent visit to Dublin the staff at Glasnevin Cemetery were extremely helpful in locating my grandmother's grave and identifying all those buried there and their relationship to the owner of the plot. Expecting four family members with the earliest burial being my grandmother in 1958, I was startled to find 7 names, with the first dating from 1895. An uncle and two first cousins all of whom died in infancy and all previously unknown to me were also there explaining why the plot was in a much older area than I expected! Burials after 1906 are all in a database and can be located and a printout made in moments. Does anyone know if comparable service is available from Dean's Grange? I have located family graves in the Memorial Inscriptions of Dean's Grange Cemetery published by the GSI and would like more information. Thank you. G.
