Hello List, My ancestor, James POWER, was compelled to leave Ireland in the summer of 1848 for his part in the Young Ireland Rising. There are 34 James POWER listed for his birthplace, County Kilkenny, in Griffith's 1848-1864. My question is - what part of the year was Griffith's done? Would James have made the list or not?
