McGrath, Michael J., RC, Tailor, born somewhere in Ireland abt 1833. Emigrated to Canada & settled in Uxbridge, ON before 1866. Married Mary-Jane Blakely abt 1866 and children born in Uxbridge between 1868-1873. Moved family to Sault Ste Marie, MI abt 1875 and was a farmer there. Died of consumption in 1882, buried at St. Mary's Riverside cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Surname in Michigan census is noted as Mc Gath and also McSeraw (can you believe it?).
