Hi List, Part 1 In the 1850 Federal Census for the Spruce Ward, in Reading, Berks Co., PA, USA, the census taker recorded the county where a person immigrated from in Ireland. This is a very unusual find -- the following is an index of the surnames I found. My McENTAGGART - McINTYRE Family relocate from Reading to the Chester, Delaware County area, as did other families from Reading. Father Peter J. RYAN was Rector at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Chester from 1901-1920. He was b. in Reading on 26 Mar 1854 & d. 29 SEP 1920. He is buried at St. Peter's Cem. (Nanny Goat Hill Cem.) in Reading.
