Michael Conway and John Conway from Gortifika, Crusheen (Inchicronan) County Clare were tenants of Austin Butler Cornelius b. 1864 d. 1929 in Denver Colorado, my grandfather, was a son of Michael. He immigrated to US in 1885 and became a railroad section forman e Other children were Margaret who probably married a Francis Markham in Massachussetts after 1880, Ann and Patt who remained on the family farm,Thomas probably immigrated to Scotland Most of John Conway's decendents still live in Clare. Michael and John married Fitzgibbon sisters Mary and Bridget. The Fitzgibbons were from the townland Shraangaloon, Cursheen
