Here she became an Icon, who in her relatively short lifetime, was also Internationally acclaimed for her valuable contribution to Family Research. Not only was she renowned for her wide-ranging library of resources covering the many countries of our ancestors; but also was highly respected through her voluminous Publications, Media contributions and personal Genealogy Classes. She was quite a Celebrity across all States of Australia, also her outstanding skills were shared world-wide through her On-Line MyFamily.com Genealogy Classes. Janet regularly arranged groups to research in Salt Lake City UT, and was a very popular Tour Director. She was held in the highest regard by her Peers and over the years hosted quite a number of Conferences in Australia with leading overseas Genealogists as Guests of Honour. She died peacefully after a long battle with diabetes.
