James & Bridget Ann (WOODS) MURPHY were born In Co. Tyrone in the Cookstown area. They married about 1870 & lived in the Pomeroy area of Co. Tyrone & had 11 children. James & Bridget died about 1916. Two of their children remained in the Pomeroy area (Mary & Francis) & the rest came to USA, three settling in New York, and the others in Phila.
