    3. LDS now has the UK, Canada census from 1881 and the US from 1880 on line. When you access these you get an individual listing not a picture of the census page itself showing all at a particular address. It does seem to give the district and page number however (it did with those I was looking up.) So.... I took that info and went to ancestry.com and went to the 1880 census (they have no index for this). Used the district, page etc from LDS and found my folks with a minimum of trouble. You do have to figure out the page numbering system but that is not hard. So for example I looked up DANIEL FARRELL in LDS and once I knew I had the right one (in this case there was only one) I looked at the district... "Knox County Illinois, Galesburg, Ward 3, page 92D). I then went to ancestry.com to Ward 3 of Galesburg City and 'fished' around until I figured the page numbering out and then I found them, the whole DANIEL FARRELL family listed on the census page.
