The Providence Journal, Providence, Rhode Island, USA http://www.projo.com/obituaries/content/projo_20021031_obit4.2d3f9.html 10/31/2002 ROBERT LEE, 84, of Sakonnet Bay Manor, 1215 Main Rd., (Tiverton, RI) a retired manager and executive, died Monday at Newport Hospital after an illness. He was the husband of Dorothy (Parker) Lee. Born in 1918 in Belfast, Ireland, a son of the late Thomas and Diane (Stewart) Lee, he had lived in New Britain, Connecticut, before moving to Kensington, Connecticut, in 1952, and eventually to Tiverton (Rhode Island) many years ago. He had summered in Jerusalem (Narragansett, RI) since 1964, and wintered in St. Croix for the last 20 years. Mr. Lee was employed in the sales and marketing division of Stanley Tools and retired in 1977 as manager of retail sales. He then was president of Basic Service Corp., the Sonitrol Security dealership in Rhode Island. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He had been a member of the South Congregational-First Baptist Church of New Britain since 1930. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert P. Lee of Swansea; three daughters, Dorothy Hutchins of Honolulu, Virginia Lee of Pawtucket (RI) and Barbara Watson of Hong Kong; and 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in South Congregational-First Baptist Church, 90 Main St., New Britain.
