Mollie, probably daughter of James REID and Margaret (unknown maiden name, but of Mullinavat, Kilkenny, Ireland.) Sisters: Catherine (m. a Lavion), Sarah Anne, Margaret (m. a Lea/Leahy). James Reid had sister Margaret who married a BOWE. These names come from grave marker at Jerpoint Abbey, Kilkenny, Ireland. Mollie REID and Thomas O'NEILL migrated, perhaps to Manchester, finally ending up in Charleston, SC with Thomas's brother Rev. Patrick O'NEILL. Mollie died about 1850. Thomas may have remarried, then disappeared/died about 1860. Children: James Joseph (1845-1926) migrated to MS after the US Civil War; daughter Mollie, no other info. on her.     3. Hello Sue My husband [Frank] has an Irish connection, Joseph SHORTISS, who married Ann O'NEILL, 1888. Sponsors at baptism of Thomas Augustine,1893, were John and Agnes O'NEILL. At the baptism of Joseph Anthony 1901 John O'NEILL was again a sponsor. There are earlier NEILL and NEAL [? Clark's error]. Mary O'NEILL sponsor 1841. All these baptisms at St Mary's church in St Mary's Parish, Clonmel. There is a James SHORTIS and Mary CASEY parents of twins! Timeframe 1883. Same church, parish and in Clonmel. She was buried at St. Mary Cemetery, Holliston MA Her father was FLORENCE CROWLEY (1850-) and her mother was MARY J. DONNELLY (1852-). She married Daniel Edward BALDWIN who was born on 18 Oct 1872 in the Townland of Lyre, Civil Parish of Kilrossanty, County Waterford Ireland. He was an Iron Moulder who worked at the Whiting Machine Works in Whitinsville MA. Daniel Baldwin died on 20 May 1948 in Holliston MA at age 75, and was also buried at St. Mary's Cemetery. Daniel's father, who was also named Daniel Baldwin (1820-1887) emigrated from Ireland to Australia. His mother was Catherine Mary REILLY (1828-1879), who died in Ireland. Daniel Baldwin and Etta Elizabeth Crowley were married on 30 Jun 1903 in St. Mary Church, Holliston MA. Their children were Mary Etta Baldwin, (1908-1988) - (my mother), and Emmet James Baldwin (1904-1948).
