Jim at [email protected] writes: << Could anyone tell me the location of villages named Moyneard and Knocknagh in Co. Tipperary. >> Jim, I can locate Moyneard townland for you. It's in Moyne civil parish, less than a mile SSW of the tiny "town" of Moyne. Alternatively, it is 4 miles NE of Thurles and 4 1/2 miles south of Templetouhy. I can't find any townland with a name even close to Knocknagh in Co. Tipperary. Do we have reason to assume that it would be in the same general area as Moyneard? Any additional information might help. Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
