I'm not sure how many siblings my grandfather Alvie Cecil Shafer had, but I do not he had one sister who never left Texas, and I seem to remember my mom saying something about at least two brothers he had. Where they went is anyone's guess. I think when we go see my parents on Thanksgiving, I'm going to have to sit my mom down and see what all she remembers about her Shafer aunts and uncles.
